Alongside my coaching, I work as a writer and consultant - which I have done for the past 25 years. My specialist areas are consultancy, development and writing of flexible, self-study and work-based learning materials for managers. I also design and develop career management and management development materials in a number of other formats:

• traditional workshop/session notes
• team training guidelines
• train the trainer notes
• mentor and coach's notes
• technical manuals
• academic course materials.

My aim, when I started on my journey as coach, was to put this considerable knowledge and understanding of management theory and practice to good use in my coaching.

Previous Experience

My early writing and consultancy experience was with Lifeskills International, where I was Lead Writer/Consultant and Commissioning Editor for 12 years and developed their generic 'Infinity' management, customer service and people development series, as well as developing customised learning packages. My clients included Boots, the Debenhams Group, BHs, Mothercare, Lloyds Bank, DHL, Ove Arup I left to set up my own Learning Consultancy and Development business, and the Ink network in 1995. Ink is a network of suppliers who pool resources and work together in whatever way best suits the client and the project, and deliver the solution or product quickly, flexibly and professionally.
