Foundation Certificate and a Diploma in Advanced Executive Coaching from the Academy of Executive Coaching. I have been coaching professionally since 2003.

Writing about coaching

I write about coaching, including learning materials for the Academy of Executive Coaching’s Foundation Certificate and the Gestalt element of the Advanced course.  I also write articles about career change, career development and people management.
Career background: before my switch to coaching as a career, twenty two years ago, my working life was spent developing and writing learning and training programmes for large organisations and corporate clients, mainly about management and personal / career development. Personal

Born in 1954, I was brought up in Kenya and educated in boarding schools in England, which I hated. I have a large and complex extended family. I brought up two daughters single-handed and now have four grandchildren.  Life has been hard at times, funny at times, but it hasn’t been boring. I believe that there is always a way through, round, under or over problems. I’m fascinated by how different we all are and I’m curious about what makes people tick. I work and experiment on my own development as a coach, a writer and a person, all the time.
